HARROGATE Town boss John Reed is not likely to make changes to his squad for tonight's clash with Stocks-bridge despite seeing his side slip to a disappointing opening day defeat at Lincoln United.

Defensive errors and profligate finishing cost Town dearly as they lost 2-1 at Lincoln but Reed is keen to give the players another chance as he looks to kick-start their UniBond League division one campaign.

"Other than our defensive lapses and the fact we forgot our shooting boots, I could not fault them for their effort and endeavour," he said. "We were the better side by miles and I felt for the players because I could see the defeat hurt them. We've got to bounce back and I'm expecting big things."

Kick off at Wetherby Road is 7.45pm.

Goole, too, will be looking to bounce back from an opening day defeat having gone down 1-0 to champions Brigg Town in the Northern Counties East League premier division. Goole, who have championship designs themselves, play host to Alfreton Town tonight (kick off 7.45pm).

In the same division, Selby Town entertain Denaby United tonight (7.45pm) in a match which will see both sides bidding to continue a winning start to the campaign, while Harrogate Railway visit Liversedge (7.45pm), who Selby beat 2-0 on Saturday.

Tomorrow night, Nestl Rowntree will look to sustain their super start to the West Yorkshire League premier division season following their 5-0 win on Saturday. Jim Collis's men visit Wetherby Athletic (6.15pm), who themselves opened with a good victory.

Nestle Rowntree: from Smallwood, Bonarius, Barley, Dewhirst, Cox, Ward, Durkin, Simpson, Rayner, Bond, Terry, J Gore, Carter, Ellis, Empson. Meet Ainsty 5pm.

Also in the WYL tomorrow, Knaresborough Town travel to Ripon City Magnets with in-form striker Sal Njie hoping to continue his scoring form following a brace in Saturday's 2-2 draw.
