REGARDING the display in Finkle Street, Selby (August 3), I saw the animal models last week and I cannot see that they are a threat to anyone.
Finkle Street is almost a pedestrian way and there is no need to go anywhere near the display unless one wants to.
As regards Randy Dawson's query as to why should Selby be different, I would suggest it is because council officials are too idle to do anything unless there is a complaint. It is a simple fact that had there not been a complaint the animals would not be a hazard to anyone.
I hope Randy sticks to his guns, because it is quite clear that he is being victimised.
