Drax won the battle of the second division big guns when they grabbed a dramatic one-wicket last-over home victory over Wheldrake.
Wheldrake openers Simon Kidby (33) and Nigel Ashton (16) put on 54 for the first wicket before a double bowling change saw Phil Chaston (2 for 29) and Paul Vickers (4 for 14) initiate a collapse. Wheldrake crashed to 105 all out.
Drax were made to labour for every run with Andy Fairburn taking 6 for 44. Chris Markham (3 for 55) kept the pressure on in the final over before the Drax last pair of Paul Vickers and Chaston sneaked the winning runs.
British Sugar and Fulfordgate share second place after both enjoyed comfortable wins in games dominated by bowlers.
Sugar were all out for 121 at home to Thorpe Willoughby, but it proved enough as they still triumphed by 31 runs.
Dave Watson took 6 for 29 for Thorpe Willoughby but Sugar's bowlers were always in charge.
Fulfordgate had an easy win at Thixendale who were dismissed for 61 with Steve Bygott and Tim Wheeler each taking four wickets.
Pete Fairburn made 43no as the Fulfordgate strolled home.
Kelfield leapt off the bottom with a nine-wicket win over Westow, who are now anchored to the foot of the table.
Andy Atkinson (3 for 28) and M Rhodes (5 for 60) bowled Westow out for 89.
Neil and Andy Atkinson then put on 67 for Kelfield's first wicket fto ensure the eventual result was a formality.
