I ENJOYED reading Dr Richard Greaves and Mrs P Witlea's letter (August 10) about public transport in York.
Next we will be saying we are 'sickened' and 'disgusted' by the bus fare increase.
We will have no words left to describe how we feel about the real issues!
Residents of York should not grumble about paying an extra few pounds a year for good public transport.
A massive 45p? How about paying some attention to the bigger picture instead of parading our dull, trifling stories and complaints in the Press?
I was delighted to pay the extra on my bus fare into town, giving First York a well deserved chance to improve its services.
