JONATHAN Greening will win his 12th England Under 21 cap when he faces Holland at Reading tonight.
The Scarborough-born player will provide the width in midfield along with former United team-mate Luke Chadwick as David Platt seeks a positive start to his managerial career at international level.
The former Nottingham Forest manager's preparations have been blighted, though, with seven eligible players in the full squad and six others pulling out through injury.
That leaves Greening, a Champions League medal winner during his time at Old Trafford, and Blackburn's David Dunn as the most experienced two of the 11 to face the Dutch - both have 11 caps - while Arsenal goalkeeper Stuart Taylor will make his debut.
