Championship leaders Clifton Alliance overcame the disadvantage of batting first when they bowled out Sheriff Hutton Bridge to win by 38 runs in another typical all-round team effort.
Darren Reeves made 37 and Dave Taylor 32 at the top of the Clifton order then skipper Duncan Naylor (25) and John Hunter (37) kept the board ticking as Paul Oldfield claimed 5 for 56 and Matthew Sinclair 4 for 62.
Alliance were dismissed for 186 and the bulk of SHB's reply came from the Scaling brothers with Paul making 55 and Nick an unbeaten 44.
However, Richard Musgrave took 3 for 26 and, with Hunter following his useful runs with 4 for 56, Bridge were bowled out for 148 as Clifton bagged 29 points.
Dunnington had a much more convincing, but less rewarding victory, when their bowlers had Ripon out cheaply and thus excluded their batsman from taking more than one batting point.
Bottom-placed Ripon were only able to make 111 as John McHale took 4 for 29 and Hamid Khan 3 for 17. Dunnington skipper Simon Kellett then rattled an unbeaten 71 after missing last week's game through injury and he and Hamid Khan (30no) were able to knock off the required runs without loss as Dunnington gained 26 points.
Pickering eased their relegation fears when they marched to a nine-wicket victory at Heworth, who found Mark Shepherd virtually unplayable as his 10 over spell earned him 6 for 8. Brian Leckenby then made 49 not out as Pickering moved to a winning score of 75 for 1.
Osbaldwick were another side who failed to claim any batting bonus points when Thirsk's Barry Petty re-instated himself as the divisional leading wicket taker by claiming 7 for 25. Osbaldwick's early order disintegrated and only a defiant late order 26 from Peter Machin enabled the visitors to reach 92.
Machin then claimed 4 for 32 but Darren Wyrill, in his first game for Thirsk after transferring from Beckwithshaw, made 33 to help his new team win by four wickets.
Whitkirk slipped nearer relegation when they lost at home to improving Easingwold whose Martin Piercy made an unbeaten 84 while solid support came from Paul Skilbeck (51) as Tom Glover grabbed 4 for 38.
Glover then followed with 44 and Dave Boucher added 37 but Paul Redshaw's 5 for 38 had the Leeds side all out for 152.
The game at Woodhouse Grange was evenly poised when an abandonment came due to bad light.
Visiting Acomb had only been able to reach 130 for 9 in their available 46 overs against Steve Burdett (5 for 41) and Sajid Ali (4 for 63). Only Chris Simpson (40) and Duminda Perera (51) came to terms with the home attack.
When Woodhouse replied Paul Stothard made 42 as Grange moved to 85 for 4 before the umpires called a halt after 31 overs.
