A MAN appeared in court today charged with the murder of a Selby firefighter.
Thomas Edward Richardson, who is accused in connection with the death of Andy Campbell, was granted bail at York Crown Court.
Mr Richardson, 43, of Primrose Grove, Selby, is charged with murdering Mr Campbell, who lived in the adjoining Hempbridge Road on August 5.
He was granted bail on condition he live at an address outside the Selby area and that he report to a police station twice a week.
He was also ordered not to contact prosecution witnesses and not to go within 25 miles of Selby, except to attend York Crown Court.
He will appear again on October 22.
