THERE shouldn't be any problems getting bride Jenny Davies to the church on time today - as she and bridegroom Stewart Hymas are top local rally drivers!
Not only have the happy couple - who met through the rally racing circuit - got a vintage racing Bentley for their wedding car, they are even using a motoring motif to guide guests to their tables at the reception.
Jenny, 25, of Wigginton, and Stewart, 30, of Burton Leonard near Harrogate, are being married at All Hallows' Church at Sutton-on-the-Forest.
Jenny, a marketing manager for Marconi, who has won numerous awards for rally driving, got hooked on the sport after her father bought her a Nova rally car. Stewart, who is managing director of the family haulage business, started out racing in the British Trials and Rally Drivers' Association championship.
Jenny said: "I'm really looking forward to the wedding and to seeing everyone who is coming, including close friends from the rallying world. Our wedding car is a 1920s racing Bentley and instead of having table numbers at the reception, each table will be a make of car!"
