Top-class cycle racing returns to the area with Knaresborough RT hosting round five of the "RTTC Rudy Project National Time Trial Series" on the Milby circuit, near Boroughbridge, tomorrow.
Riders are travelling from as far away as Aberdeen in the north and Plymouth in the south to contest this round of the season long competition.
Favourites include series leader Stuart Dangerfield, triathlete James Gilfillan who is riding for York Cycleworks, Keith Murray and Alexander Duncan.
Local interest is provided by Clifton Cycling Club riders David Belcher, Robert Osman and Claire Gilmartin.
York duathlete Colin Hawxby, riding for the Top Banana team, is expected to fare, well as is York's Paul Watson riding for Loughborough Students.
Promoting club Knaresborough RT field two riders, Nigel Goscinski, who is the first rider off, and Jim Lee.
The event starts at 1pm with head-quarters at Boroughbridge's Coronation Hall.
