A CURIOUS sight was greeting cyclists near York today as a rather unusual angler took up residence by the River Ouse.
The Fisher of Dreams was today being installed on the girders of the Naburn swing bridge.
He is a four-metre high steel sculpture of an angler with a rod in his hand and a dog at his side. The design, which was sculpted by local artist Pete Rogers, is the newest addition to the Sustrans cycle link between York and Selby.
