NEWARK Air Museum trustees wish to contact former RAF training instructors and 'trainees'.
The museum aims to archive and display personal stories and photographs of the ground staff and aircrew who maintained, serviced and flew aircraft in the RAF's many training units.
Various units operated at RAF Dishforth, Leeming, Linton-on-Ouse, Church Fenton, Topcliffe, Driffield and Full Sutton.
We are keen to hear from anyone with stories and anecdotes about their training experiences and logbook entries relating to RAF training.
We want them write, enclosing a large stamped addressed envelope, to the event organiser Bill O'Sullivan at Newark Air Museum, Winthorpe Showground, Newark, Notts, NG24 2NY or post details on the museum website: www.newarkairmuseum.co.uk
