A POLICE officer was stabbed in the back after being called to a domestic incident in Selby.
The constable, said to be in his 30s and an experienced officer, was recovering in York District Hospital today where his condition was described as stable.
A woman and a juvenile were arrested.
The officer is believed to have been stabbed with a kitchen knife on the driveway of a house in Tennant Street, Selby, at about 8.15pm yesterday.
