Harold Box will again be in charge at Heworth next season as the Villagers look to bounce straight back into the first division of the National Conference League.
Box was unable to prevent Heworth's relegation to division two in his first year in charge. But, with Phil Butler again acting as his assistant, Box will have his sights firmly set on an immediate return.
They are holding an open meeting tomorrow at their Elm Park Way clubhouse (7.30pm) for all existing players or potential new recruits who would like to join up.
Training will then begin next Tuesday, July 10 in preparation for the new division two campaign.
At Heworth's recent presentation evening Liam Cochrane was awarded the Atkinson Memorial Trophy as the first team's Player of the Year.
The Players' Player was Sam Clarke with John Coulson taking the Most Improved Player award.
Chris Brown was named the second team's Player of the Year, Eddie Hardcastle the Players' Player and Mal Binns Clubman of the Year.
