What a set of ungrateful directors we have at York Rugby League Club.
They have shown no loyalty to Lee Crooks who has stayed loyal all season to the club and even turning out himself when the team was short on a couple of occasions.
I have a lot of time for John Stabler who is York through and through, but surely he has to step in and re-appoint Lee Crooks for the game against Leigh and offer him a new deal for next season otherwise the fans may decide to turn their backs on the club, like certain members of the board turned their backs on Lee Crooks.

...I CAN understand that York RL Club are not in a position at the moment to offer Lee Crooks a new contract, but to say that, when they are, the position of head coach will be advertised with Lee certain to make the short list is an insult.
An insult to a man who has stood by the club all season and has tried his best to keep positive despite losing all his best players.
I know many supporters will join me in wishing Lee well in whatever he does in the future and offer him our heartfelt thanks for what he has done for us this season.

...I think Lee Crooks has been treated badly. He has not been given a chance.

...I am disgusted by the attitude of the board.
I think they should resign and let Mr Crooks keep on because he's doing a good job.
