Division seven of the IT Sports League again looks as though it will go to the last week of the season with only two points separating the top four teams.
Tadcaster's revival continued with their second team who beat previously unbeaten Fulford 60-48 thanks to John and Debbie Rutherford winning 31 games.
Wigginton then beat Fulford 56-52 to move onto the same points, just 15 games behind. Wigginton were behind after the first two rounds but grabbed the points with a heavy scoring final round, Richard Smith and Charlene Woodward winning 10-2 towards their final tally of 25 games.
Strensall moved into third place, just one game difference ahead of Tollerton, after their 63-45 win at Sheriff Hutton.
Division eight also looks to be heading towards a tight finish.
Second-placed Sutton-on-Derwent beat top team Civil Service 63-45 with both teams showing a change in line-up due to unavailability.
Appleton Roebuck swapped places with Cawood after beating them 62-46, with Appleton's best couple being the unbeaten Gerry Gregory and Mary-Jane Murray.
Bubwith are set to record the double again with their second team leading division nine after another heavy win, this time against Cliffe 80-28.
Selby have moved into third place with a convincing 78-30 win at Cliffe. They had the highest scorers of the week in Chris and Kirsty Godwin who won 34 games for Selby.
Wigginton are one of three teams on nine points after their 64-44 win at Civil Service in a closer match than the scoreline would suggest. The honours went to first couple Dave Wilson and Hilary Bogue who were unbeaten.
Wheldrake are the new leaders of division ten after they won their last matches and inflicted Fulford's first loss.
They beat Fulford 64-44 at home and Stillington 62-46 away.
Only two points separate the five teams below the leaders, including Nestl and Appleton Roebuck who clashed this week. Nestl won 56-52.
Sutton-on-Derwent joined in the promotion hunt after they narrowly defeated Appleton Roebuck 55-53 in a game of fluctuating fortunes with both first couples scoring heavily.
The semi-final draw for the Graham Wykes Trophy has been made and is as follows: Wilberfoss v Wheldrake, Rowntree Park v Sherburn.
Matches to be played by August 4.
