IN response the article about the city's new buses (Evening Press, June 26) I want to know if they will be able to run on time and will they even turn up at all?
Will there be enough drivers to drive these buses and has York MP Hugh Bayley and Gwyneth Dunwoody ever had the frustration of standing at a bus stop in the pouring rain, or snow, with arthritic hips and feet or rheumatism for a bus which never turns up?
Will this new-fangled bus routing - you need a university degree to understand it - make any improvement to the reliability of the bus service?
I would use a reliable bus service, as it is I walk...with aching feet.

...REGARDING plans to reduce spaces at Clarence Street car park (Evening Press, June 26), this would be fine if we had a reliable bus service. Perhaps the powers that be are going to upgrade the buses before tackling the car park.
When the park and ride parks are full do we park in Knaresborough and walk to York?
