DAVE O'Hara was in superb 16 dart form as York Maxiprint League division one leaders Bay Horse demolished Pack of Cards.
O'Hara was ably supported by Simon Craven (18), Rich Corner (17), Allan Galley (19) and Paul Cooper (20).
Pack's consolation point came from Les Smith-Dave Wright.
Mitre won 7-2 against an understrength Cygnet team whose best player was Bob Greenwood.
Russ Armstrong closed in 20 while Martin Magan found the tons.
Paul Botterill was outstanding for Volunteer, who took all the pairs to win 7-2 at Acomb.
Martyn Turner (17) and Neil Hart (180 for 19) helped Clifton 'A' to a comfortable win at Tap, whose best effort came from Wendy Smith closing on 102.
A 20 darter from Mick Bell followed by 18 from Chris Thompson inspired Britannia before Slipper rallied. But Thompson and Tony Cooper combined to secure the win and take the aggregate point.
In division two, Tony Raymond included a 125 finish for 18 but Bishopthorpe found it tough against Burton. Nevertheless the Jim Kelly-Eric Sleightholme partnership took the match and the extra point.
Clifton's 8-1 win over Six Bells helped close the gap on Bishopthorpe. Al Stevens won in 21 darts while Rich King and Vinny Gothard played well. Bell's only point came from Phil Good and Brian Allen.
Dermot Tuohey scored well for Ebor against Huntington. Crescent's Mal Muncaster hit the tons for 19 darts at Reindeer. Eric Barker was top marksman for Palace in a close match against Leeman.
Dave Tatterton was in magnificent form for division three leaders Howden. He checked 150 for 21 darts and was well supported by Steve Burton, who also recorded a 21 darter. Mick Snowden got the Indoor Bowls team's point.
Glen Bolton shone for Gimcrack in a 7-2 win over Winning Post. Woolpack had the narrowest of wins over Yearsley, whose G Deighton shot 21 darts.
York John Smith's Men's League division one leaders Shepherd's 'A' went 3-0 down to Holgate.
Derrick Hudson set the ball rolling with 21 darts against Shepherd skipper Dave Gibbons (180). Mick Brookes then Pete West added. However, a good Chas Ramsden game turned the match and Shepherd struck out to win 6-3.
Barry Noble (17) and Grant McClean (18) played major roles in Dringhouses' 7-2 win at Saddle.
Kelvin Frankel and Paul Keers turned Trafalgar round to a 6-3 victory at Green Tree.
Ray McInally was outstanding for Poacher in a 6-3 win at Yearsley. An 18 dart singles game ended with 124 on bull and three big scores including a 180 went towards a 22 dart 701 with Gary Kynman.
Railway Institute 'B' lost 7-2 to Cygnet 'B' but Adrian Gray found a fine 103 finish.
Paul Roberts hit 21 darts as division two leaders Lighthorseman beat Green Tree 'A' 7-2.
Paul Hayes and Barry McLaughlan (180) starred in Swan's 6-3 win at Slip.
Sun 'A' consolidated their position with a 7-2 win at Groves, Doug Sutcliffe recording 16 darts.
Bay Horse, Murton, derailed Coach's challenge for the York White Rose Ladies League division two title.
Coach were still on track at 3-2 down but both Angela Forth and Joan Winteringham gave resolute performances to make it 5-2.
Division two leaders Fulford Conservatives lost 5-2. Nags Head went 5-0 up, Diane Sanderson shooting out on 102. Moira Atkinson then Michelle Harrison salvaged points for Fulford.
Bumper edged closer by beating King William 5-2. Huntington closed their 5-2 win at Tramways with fine 22 darters from Margaret Clapham then Ann Ella.
A two-ton game from Beryl Glover put division one leaders Fulfordgate on the sheet but Jan Smith won the decider for Six Bells.
Rose Grimes took New York's winner at Burton WMC. Sun, now the joint leaders, lost an opportunity after Sheelagh Lord had secured the win. Magnet's Carole Counden then Dawn Green denied Sun a wider scoreline.
