YOUR report 'Get rich quick offers' (June 26) showing Ann English with her unexpected potential - though obviously hoax - windfall is nothing new to me.
I have received one or two of these 'offers' myself in. I always replied saying "Many thanks. Send me my net dues after first deducting your required fee including the cost for my unstamped reply."
Of course, I never received my 'entitled' awards - nor did I expect to.
However, many decent hard-working people can be forgiven for being misled and having their hopes raised by these 'sweepstake spivs' who should be deported in chains to some inhospitable place!
