Former York City skipper Peter Swan has unveiled his first signing since being appointed player-coach of UniBond Division One side Ossett Town.
Swan, 34, who was forced to retire from full-time football last November with a knee injury, has signed former Newcastle United and Southampton left-back John Beresford.
Last week, former Leeds, Hull and Port Vale ace Swan lost his 12-year record of being Hull City's biggest signing when Lawrie Dudfield moved to Boothferry Park from Leicester City for £225,000.
