Former Pickering Town FC secretary Steve Adamson is seeking help with re-search into the club's history.
He wants to concentrate on the period since 1972 when the Pikes entered senior football by joining the Yorkshire League, forerunner of the present Northern Counties East League.
Adamson wishes to profile each of the club managers in that period, and the top thirty players since 1972, such as Peter Collier, Robbie Pickering and Nicky Cass.
He hopes to get enough information to write a brief history of the club prior to 1972, so would welcome any information and photographs. Pickering Town were formed in 1888. He plans to cover each season in detail. Adamson can be contacted on 01723 372121.
