Darren Gough and Michael Vaughan return from the England camp to boost Yorkshire in their Benson and Hedges Cup semi-final showdown with Gloucestershire at Headingley on Monday, writes David Warner.

But the duo, plus Craig White and Matthew Hoggard, have been barred from playing for Yorkshire in their Cheltenham and Gloucester match against Bedfordshire at Luton on Wednesday.

Yorkshire have the rare luxury of being able to choose from a full squad for the B&H semi-final but with so many top bowlers at their disposal there is no room for Chris Silverwood, who is fit again after a groin injury.

Silverwood is Yorkshire's leading pace bowler in this year's B&H competition with six dismissals, and he is way ahead of any of his colleagues in the Championship with 27 wickets at 18.81 runs apiece.

Ryan Sidebottom is in the squad of 12 after recovering from shin soreness and left-hander Michael Lumb has also forced his way in after his century at Park Avenue this week against Bradford-Leeds Universities.

Yorkshire are out for revenge against Gloucestershire who beat them in the 1999 B&H Super Cup final and in the NatWest Trophy semis the same year.

First of all, Yorkshire must concentrate on beating Northamptonshire Steelbacks at Headingley tomorrow in the Norwich Union League. White and Hoggard have both been given permission to play but England have said 'no' to Gough and Vaughan.
