A NEW trophy will be hoisted by the winners of next year's Rugby League Challenge Cup.
Jack Spencer Goldsmiths of Sheffield have made a replica of the original cup which was lifted for the last time by St Helens in the 100th final at Twickenham in April.
The old trophy, which has been replaced due to wear and tear, will now become the showpiece item in the Rugby Football League's planned Museum of Rugby League.
The new cup will make its debut in the 101st Challenge Cup final at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday, April 27 next year.
Hull FC's Matt Crowther (left) and Scotland RL development officer Mark Sentor hold up the new cup during a press conference at Edinburgh Castle.
