Pocklington produced the shock result in the Foss Evening League where they inflicted a six-wicket defeat on previously unbeaten leaders Bubwith.
Batting first the visitors, were indebted to Paul Hemingway (39) and Dave Burks (25) in reaching 108 for seven.
Despite early setbacks Kevin Hinch (38no) and Inns (30no) out steered Pocklington home.
Yapham capitalised on Bubwith's defeat to join them at the top of the table on 11 points when they beat champions Woodhouse Grange by 11 runs.
The Yapham innings was held together by Dick Wright (35) as they posted 105 for five with Tony Smith claiming three for 30. Phil Stothard was the only batsman to put up resistance against Angus Scott (5-19) as the Woodhouse reply closed on 94 for eight.
James Preston became the season's first centurion scoring an excellent unbeaten 104 as Heworth defeated Wilberfoss by eight runs.
Middleton moved to the top of the second division by a clear two points as they completed a six wicket success over Melbourne.
