Riccall beat Dunnington in division four of the Fulford Ladies Invitation League to give them six straight wins and move them four points clear at the top of the table.
Joan Oxtoby and Sue Warren had a good 8-4 win and two 6-6 draws. Five rubbers ended 6-6 or 7-5 and Dunnington came back in the last round with a 7-5 and two 6-6 but Riccall took the two league points.
Copmanthorpe moved into second place, beating Fulford 65-43. Jenny Davis and Trish Telfer were the only couple with three straight wins. The defeat leaves Fulford nearer the danger zone along with Poppleton, Sheriff Hutton and Strensall.
Cliffe beat Tollerton in division three to keep their 100 per cent record. Jo Davis and Christine Stratton were the only couple to keep a clean sheet, winning 7-5 9-3 9-3 to help Cliffe to a 63-45 victory.
Civil Service moved into second place in a close match with Dunnington who are pinned down at the foot of the table. Wendy Catchpole and Jackie Ritchie were unbeaten, winning 29 games to help Civil Service to a 57-51 win.
Pocklington are the only unbeaten team in division five after they overcame Knaresborough.
Jean Billington and Carol Hetherton were in top form, winning 28 games in a 74-34 victory.
Bishopthorpe only had two couples when they played Selby and both pairs battled to win every game. In the last round Georgina Mackenzie and Cynthia Jewitt, along with Linda Moore and Diane Hitchimer, won 21 games to get two more league points in a 57-51 victory which keeps Selby in bottom place.
Castlegarth and York are setting the pace in division two. York beat Cawood, Annette Williams and Karen Reteif being unbeaten winning 29 games.
This win gives York ten points, the same as Castlegarth who have not lost a match in their first five. They beat Appleton Roebuck 64-44 with a good team effort.
Wheldrake's chances of staying with the top two took a blow when a changed Selby team turned in a great performance. Debbie Godwin and Sue Espiner had three good wins, collecting 23 games in a 66-42 victory.
Dunnington are top in division one after beating Poppleton but found Rosie Cantrell and Sue Peach hard to beat.
The pair had two wins but were just beaten by Dunnington's number one pair of Suzie Booth and Denise Bolam. Bolam went on to top score with 23 games to help their team win 60-48.
York dispersed Fulford from the top spot with a good 62-46 win. Louise Lister and Wendy Stirke won 8-4 8-1 11-1. Christine Place and Helen Leach had three good matches collecting 22 games.
Bubwith beat Knaresborough but found Anne Albats and Maija Moulton hard to beat as they won 21 games.
The strong all-round Bubwith team were led by Jill Schofield and Viv Williamson who had a 12-0 among their 27 games and were the only couple to finish unbeaten in a 63-45 victory.
