Poppleton keep up the pressure
Poppleton were ruthless against a weakened Wigginton in division one of the Tyke Petroleum Men's League.
Both Robert Moore and Duncan Prior and Alex Moore/John Fisher scored 29 of the 86 games which gave Poppleton eight rubbers.
Dunnington kept up the pressure with a 68-40 win at Bubwith. Paul Birch and John Sumner led with 25. York moved off the bottom with victory over Civil Service. Bob Audsley and Neil Giltrap scored 24 for York.
Ian Driffill and Jonathan Sharp led Bubwith's effort with 27 games in their 69-39 win over Rowntree Park.
Paul Colbeck and Paul Thomas won 27 games for Sutton upon Derwent to help beat division two leaders Poppleton II 63-45.
Second-placed Riccall stayed in the hunt with John Tongue and Paul Elmhurst's 30 games significant in their 69-39 win over Copmanthorpe.
