York Rowing Club's women's section will be aiming for a sights-setter on home waters before embarking for Henley.
The club stages its York Summer Regatta tomorrow when the host club will be joined in battle on the River Ouse by crews from Lancashire, Nottingham and the North East.
The women's section are putting final preparations in order when they race in fours, double sculls and single sculls before they travel south for Women's Henley Regatta next weekend for prestigious the two-day event.
The club's Senior 2 four, who have had some good wins over the last few weeks, hope to continue their successful run especially in front of their home crowd.
Racing starts at 10am tomorrow with a races every five minutes up to 6pm over the 100-metre course between Clifton Bridge and Lendal Bridge.
