A mother duck and her ducklings have been drawing the crowds at Huntington School in York.
The duck arrived in school a few weeks ago and laid her eggs in a courtyard off the main corridor.
When the eggs hatched, a paddling pool was brought in by teachers, and planks have been laid across to help the 11 little ducklings get around. Teacher Fiona Long said: "At some time soon they will need to be given a passageway so they can get back down to the Foss."
In the meantime the ducklings seem quite happy in their pool and Mrs Long said they had attracted a lot of attention from pupils going down the corridor and from nearby classrooms.
