Outright winner of Brough Wheelers ten-mile time-trial was Sam Barker of Velo Ecosse team with an impressive 20min 19sec ride.
He beat first senior Mick Storey (Scarborough Paragon) into second place.
York's Clifton CC fielded a quartet of veteran riders, with fastest proving to be Colin Simpson on 23-18, followed by Acomb's Keith Richardson 23-51. Bob Noble was timed at 25-03 and Jerry Noble 25-3.
The first 15-mile event in the Thursday League series was won by Paul Kirk from Bob Jackson team-mate Sean McCarthy, the latter missing a clear start after unshipping his chain. Kirk clocked 35-00 to McCarthy's 35-17.
Clifton's fastest man was Rob Osman with 37-24, followed by Ian Toyn with 40-28. Dave Belcher came home third for Clifton in 41-13 with veteran Jerry Noble clocking 41-15.
Brough Wheelers' Nigel Thorpe enjoyed another win in the Northern Foiling Services Ltd Time Trial League.
He beat York Cycleworks' elite category rider Alastair Kay into second place by 49 seconds, with third-placed Jody Hamilton, of Boneshakers MTB, over a minute behind.
White Rose TRI cyclist Wendy Keefer's first time trial result saw her finish first woman.
The next event, run under TRI regulations by Knaresborough Racing Team, next week is on the 25-mile A168/A19 Kepwick to Borrowby route. Start 7pm, park at Borrowby crossroads.
