Former US President Bill Clinton made a couple's wedding day that extra bit special when he met them at their North Yorkshire reception venue.
Mr Clinton was playing golf in the grounds of Rudding Park, near Harrogate, following his speech at the Yorkshire International Business Convention held last Friday at the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Part way through a six-hole round, he stopped his entourage of security staff in six golf buggies to greet wedding guests at the reception for just-married couple Justin and Rebecca Garnet, from West Yorkshire.
The ex-President, dressed in full golf attire, even managed to appear in the wedding video.
Peter Banks, manager at Rudding Park, said: "He was staying with us on Friday night. In between his speaking engagements he came back and played six holes of golf to relax.
"He ended up on the third green just underneath the house. A wedding was taking place and all the guests came out.
"They started clapping his shots and he had a chat with them and had photos with the bride and groom. He really made it a special day for them."
