Former York City manager Alan Little has teamed up with his brother Brian at Hull City.
The one-time York boss has been made chief scout of the Tigers, where Brian is the manager.
It is the first time the duo have been in tandem together since they were teenagers playing for Aston Villa back in the late 1970s after leaving their native north-east.
Alan Little has been out of work since he was sacked by basement club Southend United midway through last season.
He was in the running to take charge of another of his former clubs Torquay United if then caretaker manager Colin Lee got a job in a higher division.
But only last week Lee accepted the Torquay post on a permanent basis enabling Brian Little to appoint his brother to the scouting position at the Boothferry Park club, who were pipped to promotion from the basement in last month's Division Three play-off semi-finals.
