White Rose continued their strong start in Cueball Summer Pool League division two by thrashing Acomb Hotel 8-2 with two wins each from Andy Wade, Chris Long and Ian Smith.
Bishopthorpe SC have also started the season well and two each from Dave Raymond and Rob Emsley gave them victory over Huntington SC 'B'.
Dave Catlow's two wins gave Punch Bowl the verdict at Turf Tavern 'A'.
Cygnet's Pete Harrison won the first frame of their match at Tam O Shanter 'A', but Shanter won the rest with two apiece from A Price, P Ollerenshaw, Steve Chapman and Pete Greenwood.
Paul Mahoney included a "break and dish" in Volunteer 'B's win over Layerthorpe 'A' in division one. Gav Pickard also won twice.
Layerthorpe 'B' head the table after two each from Glen Thackeray and Joe Goddard helped beat Health Club for whom Mark Gerrard won twice.
Tim Hart and Gary Penrose won two each to give Cueball 'A' victory over Volunteer 'A', while Joe Moore, Martin Hobson and Paul Wilson did likewise as Cueball 'B' beat Edinburgh Arms.
Dick Turpin thumped Crystal Palace in division three with two from Nigel Macdonald. G Doughty saved the whitewash for Palace.
Pete Yates and Graham Bielby helped maintain Poppleton Rd WMC's 100 per cent start to the campaign at Brown Cow for whom Mark Douglas won twice.
John Dawson and J McPhie won two each as Fulford Arms opened their account at the expense of Tam O'Shanter 'B'.
Both Bay Horse teams clashed and finished all square.
* Division three teams note that Skelton Ex-Service Club have been expelled from the league for missing their first two matches. This is now a free week.
