Rain ruined the latest round of Pilmoor Evening Cricket fixtures, where a start was possible in only one game.
Sheriff Hutton Bridge batted first at Alne and were all out for 110.
C Hunter made 23 and Paul Scaling top-scored with 39, Eddie Myers having the excellent figures of five for 19 for the hosts. Tom Ryder supported well with two for 20.
Alne's reply began in poor conditions, and they seemed well on course for victory with James Kenny making 30, but Myers had to retire hurt on 27 and the balance began to swing in favour of Bridge when the weather finally claimed the upper hand with Alne on 89 for seven. Duncan Snell claimed two for 13.
Bridge and Easingwold still have a clear lead in the first division, while Huby lead the second division.
