Acomb ended Heworth's unbeaten run in the East Riding Sunday League with an emphatic nine-wicket victory with Dominda Perrara hitting a superb unbeaten 131.
That provided the base for Acomb's 177 for 1 in reply to Heworth's 174 for 9.
Andrew Dapson made 53 for Hewoprth and Richard Winterburn 32 with Scott Nicholls, Andy Hough and Phil Chaffer all taking three wickets.
Pocklington lost by 29 runs at Beverley, who were pegged back by 190 by Andy Inns' 4 for 15. Pock's R Bower (60) and N Job led the run chase but the away side fell short.
Stamford Bridge conceded their game at Hornsea, the unbeaten seasiders going top, while Dringhouses had a walkover against Hull Zingari.
