FAITH can be a powerful force. York church-goer Peter Craven combines a strong religious belief with a side order of tomatoes.
Mr Craven is thanking God and his diet for his astonishing recovery from a form of lung cancer. His faith has pulled him through, and a dramatic change of diet to eat more tomatoes, radishes, onions and garlic, has helped strengthen his body.
His story reminds us that belief can have tremendous power, while also raising our interest in the humble tomato.
