I HAVE the strongest possible objection to the proposal to hold a Sunday market on Elvington airfield.
This will cause a considerable amount of congestion in this area and will do incalculable harm to the Yorkshire Air Museum.
The entrances to the museum and the airfield are adjacent and the continual flow of traffic to the market will make it difficult for traffic to get into the museum. I can only hope that the authorities will have the good sense to turn down flat this proposal.
