Sutton-upon-Derwent stayed top of IT Sports League division eight on games difference after they lost their unbeaten record 62-46 against Strensall for whom Owen Berger and Karen Biswell won 28 games.
York moved out of the relegation area with a 55-53 win at Riccall thanks to Roger Burton and Sarah Dwyer, who won 27 games.
Cawood drew against Castlegarth, top scorers David Welch and Shelagh Elcock digging into their reserves as they were 6-0 down in their final rubber needing 6-6 for a point.
Bubwith top division nine after their latest two wins at Tollerton (75-33) and then Civil Service (82-26), again spearheaded by Ian Driffill and Liz Bramley although team-mates Chris Cobley and Alison Fletcher outscored them at Civil Service.
Cliffe moved into third with a 64-44 win at New Earswick with Bruce Parker and Shirley Leake top scoring.
Stillington are top of division ten after their win against Strensall and are closely followed by Appleton Roebuck, who also defeated Strensall in a much closer match, winning 56-52.
Fulford went third and are as yet unbeaten with an 84-24 win against Wilberfoss, with all three Fulford couples winning 28 games.
Sutton lost the chance of swapping places with Wheldrake after they lost 65-43, Wheldrake's Don Grant and Rachel Smye topping the averages with 24 games.
