Carol Price recorded a fine 107 check for Holgate WMC in York John Smith's Ladies League division three but Leeman 'B' returned a 6-3 win.

Clifton retained lead of the division despite losing 5-4 to Old Ebor whose Karen Barrett and Mo Hearfield secured the decider.

Holgate are joint second with Woolpack who struggled to a 3-3 draw with Cue Ball. Shepherd are breathing down the necks of the leaders as they overcame Queen 6-3.

Puss 'n Boots put themselves into contention with a superb 7-2 victory at Leeman 'C'. Carol Stone and Tracy Atkin hit the big scores.

Sue Skinner hit two tons as Tang Hall WMC beat Frog 6-3.

Shelley Moran and Susie Hughes secured the 5-4 win for Dringhouses against Slipper.

Gill Cooper starred for Layerthorpe WMC but Cranes produced the better form to record a 6-3 victory.

Yvonne Watson included two tons for 20 in the singles and two more in the deciding pairs as Poacher beat Leeman 'A' 5-4.

Sylvia Keenan and Angie Lancaster secured the win for Jubilee after colleagues Maxine Midgley and Brenda Dawe had levelled against Britannia 'A'.

Liz Powell put Cygnet's victory safe in the fifth game against Burton Club who then hit back to take the remainder. Slip, who lead division three, were taken to the wire by Half Moon and had Karen Braithwaite and Betty Jameson snatching the 5-4 success.

Linda Davies and Carol Robson settled a Severus win against Mitre, while Britannia 'B' hit the big scores but lost 6-3 to Shepherd's superior finishing.

New York beat Six Bells 4-3. Gillian Grimes gamed in 22 darts and her mother, Rose, got the winner with another 22 darts.

Fulford Conservatives lost 5-2 to Tankard but retained a hold on the division two lead as their main rivals, Coach, crashed 5-2 at Lord Collingwood.

King William's match at Tramways was secured by Joan Copley while Sheila Reynolds similarly settled Bumper's meeting with Palace.

Alice Hawthorn were pipped by Huntington Sports. Sue Smith secured the 4-3 scoreline.

However, Beeswing lost the match in the decider taken by Cygnet 'A' team's Kevin Walton and Dawn Exton.

Vaults 'B' beat their 'A' side 7-2, Mark Gamble making an exit on bullseye, while Slipper 'A', losing 5-4 at Windmill, had a good 22 darts from Roz Kerr.

There was no reply from Three Tuns against Bumper while Martyn Turner starred in Leeman 'A' teams 6-3 at Cygnet 'C'.
