James Langley and Charlene Woodward, members of the Wigginton club, won the York and District Mixed Doubles Tennis League's Peter Terry junior trophy in Rowntree Park.
The tournament, for under-16 players, drew an entry of 13 couples, the Langley-Woodward combination beating Christopher Woolley and Katie Milne (Dunnington) 6-3 in the semi-final.
Aidan Richardson and Jade Mullarkey (Poppleton) defeated club colleagues Oliver Mills and Lorraine Waudby 6-1 in the other semi-final.
The final saw Richardson-Mullarkey take a 4-1 lead only for Langley-Woodward to hit back and win a well-fought match 7-5.
Gerry Slack, president of the league, presented the trophy.
