York professional Kirsty Taylor had a final round of 74, two over par, to finish on 290, ten shots behind Norway's Suzann Pettersen in the Evian Tour women's French Open Golf Championship at Arras.
Pettersen won at the third hole of a play-off with Welsh rookie professional Becky Morgan to seal her first tour win after being world amateur champion last year.
Taylor was left regretting her first round eight over par 80, which virtually put her out of the running, though she recovered in fine style with a six under par 66, one of the best rounds of the tournament, and followed with a 70 on Saturday before finishing with a 74.
