Football fever will descend on Wigginton over the next two weekends when the Grasshoppers host their annual six-a-side football tournament for the 17th successive year.
More than 2,500 players representing more than 70 clubs from Yorkshire, County Durham, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Northumberland and Teesside will take part in the event which kicks off at Wigginton Playing Fields tomorrow.
The boys' under-7s, under-8s and under-9s will be in action on the opening day, with the women and girls teams playing the following day.
Then the the boys' under-10s and under-11s put their skills to the test on Saturday, May 12, followed on the final day by the under-12s and teenage boys.
