TV celebrities will pit their footballing wits against the mighty Pocklington Pandas police football team on Sunday.
The Pandas are inviting soccer fans to support them in the charity match, being held against The Liverpool Veterans, which includes England captain Emlyn Hughes and Phillip Oliver (Tim O' Leary in Brookside), Ben Freeman (Scott in Emmerdale) and Nick Pickard (Tony in Hollyoaks)
The match, being held at the Henry Thirsk amenity centre, The Balk, Pocklington, at 1pm, is sponsored by Somerfield Supermarkets, the Yorkway Hotel, in Pocklington, The Feathers Hotel and Danbys newsagent.
Tickets are £1 and can be obtained from Somerfield, Celebrations, The Feathers Hotel and Danbys.
