A man found dead at a roadside near Bridlington last Sunday had to be identified by his dental records, an inquest has revealed.
Kevin Walker, of West Street, Swinton, near Malton, was found by officers from Humberside Police on a grass verge just west of Rudston.
Earlier that day police had received a mobile telephone call from a man threatening to commit suicide.
Officers used mobile phone technology to trace the call and establish where it had been made.
An inquest on 34-year-old Mr Walker was opened at Hull Coroners Court and adjourned to a date to be set.
