You might call it instinct, but a family of thrushes has chosen one of the most secure places to nest you could imagine - an armoured car at a North Yorkshire museum.
They are currently holed up in a Ferret armoured car at Eden Camp, near Malton, where they are getting a helping hand from museum staff.
The armoured car, usually a hands-on exhibit, has been roped off by staff to protect nest and contents.
Visitors to Eden Camp have been fascinated by the saga of the thrushes but they will not be allowed to get close to the armoured car again until the fledglings have flown the nest.
