Soul diva Gabrielle confirmed her status as Britain's number one female singer/songwriter with a sensational sell-out concert at York's Barbican Centre.
Wearing dark sunglasses and a full-length leather coat - the star's hallmark look - she kept the audience enthralled for 90 minutes with her unique blend of sexy soul music.
Most of the songs were from her number-one album, Rise - but she also delighted fans with some of her earlier hits: Give Me A Little More Time, Going Nowhere and Dreams, her first single which topped the charts in 1993.
She also performed a cover version of Carol King's Too Late and sang her latest single, Out Of Reach, which is the soundtrack to the film Bridget Jones's Diary.
