A CHILD was airlifted to hospital suffering from leg injuries after he collided with a car when he ran out into a road in Sherburn-in-Elmet.
North Yorkshire Police said the child, who has not been identified, ran out into the road between two parked cars when the accident happened just before 6pm last night near the Spar shop, in Low Street.
West Yorkshire's air ambulance took the child to Pontefract General Infirmary with suspected leg injuries.
