THERE seemed to be six council workers engaged in cutting chains across Langwith Common Lane public right of way (April 18).
These men's wages are being paid by us. The farmer, Roy Handley, according to your report, told the council officer that they only had to call him and he would have given them a key to the locks.
What a waste of time, effort and most importantly, money.
