I HAVE used the Millennium Bridge several times now and it is indeed a wonderful asset, but I would like to add a couple of points to Mr Alderson's letter (April 24).
Why are there no markings to segregate cyclists and pedestrians on the bridge itself, as there are on the riverside paths?
And why not have high-visibility removable bollards at each end to prevent such incidents as the transit van incident you reported a few days ago?
