Yorkshire's loss will be Scarborough's gain tomorrow as one of England's world class cricket all-rounders will play in the Yorkshire League against Sheffield Collegiate at North Marine Road.
Craig White, under English Cricket Board orders to take a rest from county cricket, could partner fellow Yorkshire left-hander, Victor Craven, who has made a surprise switch from Harrogate to Scarborough this season in a bid to establish himself as an opener.

Ed McKenna continues as captain of last season's National Club Knockout champions Sheffield Collegiate, although Collegiate have been let down by their intended overseas player, Geoff Hemmings, who told the club last Saturday that he is not coming.
Another loss to Collegiate is the departure of their stalwart all-rounder Martin Ivill, who has returned to Shaw Lane to captain Barnsley, where his 20-year-old son Andy is also playing.
Former York captain Ian Dews leads the Yorkshire Academy into action at Appleby Frodingham while Dews' former York opening partner Alexis Twigg presses his claim for the No. 1 spot again at Sheffield United.
Appleby Frodingham have registered New Zealand batsman and off-spinner Richard King, who plays for the Auckland first team.

John Herbert has taken on the administration of the White Rose Trophy Under 21 competition in which Yorkshire League entertain Airedale and Wharfedale League on May 20.
