York Wasps will have a new face at full-back for Sunday's home clash with Whitehaven.
Mike Hall has joined the Wasps on loan from Northern Ford Premiership rivals Hull Kingston Rovers and is expected to be joined next week by Robins team-mate Mark Dooley.
Hall is a promising fullback who has just returned from a broken leg while Dooley has struggled to establish himself at Craven Park after graduating from the Academy team.
They will fill the two key positions which Wasps coach Lee Crooks identified as weaknesses after last week's 60-10 defeat by Workington.
Hall has trained with York this week and goes straight into the team while Dooley will be arriving next week.
Former Hull KR Academy and Alliance prop or second rower Shane Cochrane has also signed up and will on the bench on Sunday (kick-off 4pm).
The Wasps were today hoping for an answer from former Leeds Rhinos Paul Sterling following lengthy talks yesterday with York director of football Tony Coleman.
