Well, here is yet another first-person shooter trying to break into an already full market.
Hired Team Trial is set in the future and due to the over-population of earth, crime has now become a major problem for the regular authorities.
A special Hired Team of all the best officers from special forces around the world is being set up to deal with the problem. The one player mode is very good and has plenty of weapons and characters to choose from, but the real test comes when you take the game online. Finding a game online was extremely difficult as the game has not beed out for long.
The graphics are good and come across as a mix between Unreal Tournament and Quake III Arena - but for anyone who has these games already, they're not going to find anything new here.
Be warned, though - the Shine graphics engine has some compatibility issues with different graphics cards, refusing to run with two different GeForce-based cards it was tested on, so buy from somewhere with a good returns policy.
